Student Auditions
As a part of our growing line-up of homeschool classes for the Fall semester, we're introducing Theatre Lab + Performance, beginning Aug 18th for ages 5-8, 9-11, and 12 & up. These acting classes meet Mondays for a jam-packed session of creativity, improv, and rehearsal. The grand finale? A live performance to close the semester with a bang. Only students in Theatre Lab + Performance classes will be in the show.
🎤 THE SHOW: We Open Tomorrow Night?! by Michael Wehrli
It's a show... about putting on a show. Total chaos. Total comedy. Total fun. Picture this: It's the final rehearsal before the big opening night of a talent show, and everything that can go wrong... does. Think: dramatic flubs, wild personalities, and over-the-top antics. Even better? The script is designed to showcase you. So, if you've got a talent—any talent—we want to see it. Acrobat? Guitar shredder? Singer? Stand-up comic? Yo-yo master? The stage is yours.
Audition info:
> If you're in a Theatre Lab + Performance class, you're already in the show--just register for the class and get ready to shine!
> Got a wild imagination or a skill you want to show us? If you're 9 or older, you may audition for a featured part and show us what you've got!
> We're not chasing perfection—we want bold choices, fearless fun, and creativity. Take that small risk and trust us... you're gonna love where this ride takes you.
If you choose to audition (age 9 & up), email us by June 1st at info@waveoftampabay.com with "AUDITION" and the full name & age of the auditioner. We'll respond with available time slots to reserve your 10-minute audition for June 2nd between 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM.
